Ms. Wendy - Tutor

Hello! My name is Wendy Culp, and I have two children in 3 rd and 1 st Grade.
I taught 4th Grade for 9 years. Many of those years I worked as a Private Tutor through the district and helped students in all subject areas in Grades K-12.
My teaching philosophy is rooted in fostering curiosity and building confidence, tailoring lessons to each student's unique learning style. I specialize in students needing help with organizing, remembering information, and study skills. Discovering your own unique style of learning and how you process information, is one of the keys to success in school (and in life).
Outside of tutoring, I volunteer as a Girl Scout Leader for my daughter’s 3rd grade Brownie Troop and as a Den Leader for my sons 1st Grade Lion Den.  The greatest reward for me is knowing I helped a student find the tools they need and add them to their "toolbox".  I look forward to helping your student achieve their goals!
