For children with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), coaching focuses on developing skills that improve academic performance, social interactions, emotional regulation, and self-management. The coach might suggest individual sessions, subsystem sessions, or entire family sessions, depending on identified objectives and challenges. Your ADHD coach will work closely with other professionals involved with the family (teachers, therapists, doctors) to ensure consistent and coordinated care as well. Below are some specific ADHD coaching services that are provided tailored for children:
Emotional Regulation
Relaxation Techniques
Time Management and Organization
Academic Support and Study Skills
Goal Setting and Motivation
Impulse Control and Self-Discipline
Self-Advocacy and Confidence
Parent and Family Coaching
Self-Regulation and Coping Skills
Encouraging Independence
Our ADHD Coaching focuses on practical skills that can be integrated in everyday life, helping children feel more confident, and capable of managing their ADHD-related challenges. Many of the strategies I use are valuable for all children. If your child struggles with motivation, focus, self-discipline, or managing their emotions and schoolwork, I can provide coaching to help them build lifelong skills for success. Coaching is about support, so I tailor my approach to fit your child's unique needs, whether or not they have an ADHD diagnosis.
